Hello and Welcome! I'm the owner and founder of The Nanny Chef in Los Angeles, Ca. I am a certified personal chef and graduate from the Business Culinary Academy. I have been working with children for over 20 years with a background in Child Development and Nutrition. From muffins to dinner casseroles I enjoy creating quick, easy and healthy homemade recipes for kids. Getting children to eat can be challenging and tricky. BREAKFAST RECIPES

Yummy Banana Peanut Butter Quesadillas


 2 medium whole wheat or multigrain flour tortilla
 2 ripe banana
 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
 2 tbsp low-fat cream cheese
 1 tsp flaxseed meal
 2 tsp honey or agave
 1/4 tsp cinnamon



 1. Add the peanut butter, cream cheese, honey, cinnamon and flaxseed in a small bowl. Mix well.

 2. Spread the peanut butter mixture on one half of each tortilla.

 3. Peel the bananas and cut into slices (one banana for each tortilla).

 4. Lay the banana slices over the peanut butter on each tortilla. Fold each tortilla in half.

 5. Coat a non-stick frying pan or skillet with cooking spray over medium- high heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes
     on each side or until golden brown.

2-3 servings




Breakfast Fruit Pizza



2 whole wheat or multi-grain waffles 
low fat vanilla yogurt
blueberries, raspberries, strawberry slices.
honey or maple syrup



1. Toast waffles in toaster.

2. Top evenly with yogurt and fruit to your desired
    portion. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup. Serve
    immediately.
