SNACK TIME RECIPES

Cheese Sticks

1. Cut cheese into cubes

2. Insert pretzle sticks into cubed cheese and serve.


TNC Recommends:

* Use a variety of  cheeses
* Use unsalted pretzles instead.





Peanut Butter Celery Sticks (Ants On A Log)

 celery stalks 
 peanut butter
 raisins
 knife



1. Wash and cut celery into short sticks (logs).

2. Fill the center of celery sticks with peanut butter.

3.Top with raisins (Ants) in a row. Enjoy!


TNC Recommends:

* Use cream cheese or hummus instead of peanut butter.
* Use other dried fruits like cranberries, blueberries and strawberries.




Turkey & Cheese Cracker Sandwiches


6 whole wheat crackers
shredded turkey (low sodium)
low fat sliced cheese
cream cheese
knife
small cookie cutters


1. Cut cheese into shapes using cookie cutters.

2. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one side of  each cracker.

3. Top 3 crackers with cheese shapes and turkey. Cover each with remaining crackers.

    Makes 3 cracker sandwiches.
